At its beginning in 2005, Skyview Construction Co., LLC came together as a company that would assist FEMA after natural disasters. The first work was in the cleanup and temporary housing for hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Later, Skyview would also help set temporary housing for Greensburg, Kansas after an F5 tornado devastated the town.
With the experiences, teamwork and expertise gained from those ventures, Skyview pivoted to erosion control and seeding for the Dakota territories, where it has since set new standards and served the area for nearly 20 years.
Throughout its history, Skyview has also been active in residential real estate.
In 2022 Skyview expanded its services to include roll-forming steel into studs and rafters. This allows the company to supply its spec home building endeavor to build high quality, energy-efficient homes and rental properties.
In 2024, Skyview Purchased Castlewood Building Supplies in Castlewood South Dakota. Rebranded Skyview CBS, this business ensures quality materials at reasonable rates find their way into the hands of contractors and homeowners.
